What will be the results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs: 6 integrated tourism products/services created, 160.000 expected number of visits to supported sites of cultural and natural heritage and attraction, 3 common strategies/policies/plans for valorizing the cultural and natural heritage

Programme results: increase of the number of overnights in the CBC area with 160.000

Project status:

LB has implemented the following activities:

- all the equipment necessary for project implementation team has been purchased;

- one joint Study on the Natural and Cultural Heritage in the Cross-border area of Dolj, Olt, Mededinti (RO) - Vidin, Montana, Vratsa and Pleven (BG) was elaborated, translated in English and Bulgarian languages and was printed. The joint study elaborated has been printed, as a brochure, in Bulgarian and English languages and was distributed during the raising awareness regarding the advantage of services using specific natural resources and bio products.

-1 consultative meeting was held in Craiova. The purpose of the meeting was to help identify the most attractive touristic packages, based on the study recommendations and consultations between various stakeholders.

- 3 awareness meetings for presenting the awareness brochure elaborated within the project and 1 direct meeting between producers/dealers of natural/bio products and users were held in Romania.

- the procurement procedures for awarding of the contract for elaboration of the smartphone application and for elaboration of the project webside started.

Beneficiary 2 has implemented the following activities:

- 3 awareness meetings for presenting the awareness brochure elaborated within the project and 1 direct meeting between producers/dealers of natural/bio products and users were held in Bulgaria.

- 1 consultative meeting in Pleven. The purpose of the meeting was to help identify the most attractive touristic packages, based on the study recommendations and consultations between various stakeholders.
