Multi-cultural heritages and yachting on natural heritage Black Sea for a sustainable and creative tourism development on the cross border area Constanta Dobrich

What will be the results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs: 2 integrated tourism products/services created, 10.000 expected number of visits to supported sites of cultural and natural heritage and attraction, 1 strategy for valorizing the cultural and natural heritage.

Programme results: increase of the number of overnights in the CBC area with 10.000.

Project status

The project is currently under implementation, although it interfeared some changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The following results were reached so far:

The project is in the 26th month of implementation out of 27 months, and in order to finalize the activities successfully, a request for project extension implementation period with 3 months was made.

There is visible progress on the activities:

A strategy on ”Joint marketing strategy for cross border tourism products’ development and promotion, including creative tourism” was elaborated. The mentioned strategy is available on the project’s website: https://www.multicultya.eu/downloads/Strategie_marketing.pdf.

The developing of the touristic product 2 days multicultural customs route is in progress, the scenario for the 6 weddings’ artistic show being realized.

The Bulgarian Partner Eureka NPO has implemented a newsletter campaign by means of the online platform www.mailchimp.com. In total, the newsletter was sent to 511 e-mail addresses (with 11 more as compared to the initial target), in order to promote the project results to the public.

Both beneficiaries created and designed 1 online banner each (1 in English and 1 in Bulgarian), which can be seen on the project’s website (https://www.multicultya.eu) and on the Bulgarian partner’s website (https://eurekainstitute.eu/eureka/en/). The banner has been also published for 3 months on the website of the Bulgarian Tourist Association of Kavarna. The translation of the “Study on trends on creative tourism” and the “Joint marketing strategy for cross border tourism products’ development and promotion, including creative tourism” were finalized and are available now in Romanian language at the following link: https://www.multicultya.eu/results.php?lang=ro .

A report on the implementation of information and publicity measures that stipulates that the visual elements used for the templates of covers for brochures and studies in Romanian and English language, are in accordance with the requirements of the Visual Identity Manual for the INTERREG V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme, was finalized.

3 touristic products: “3 days cross border yachting tour”, “3 days Sand construction festival”, “3 days Dance Festival for amateur tourists”, were events which took place last year, with the participation of both Bulgarian and Romanian tourists.

Movies presenting the aforementioned events: “3 days Dance Festival for amateur tourists” and “3 days cross border yachting tour” are available on the website of the project: https://www.multicultya.eu/, at the “Video” section.

A smartphone application entitled “3 days religious route” is now available for Android and iOS operating systems.

The information and publicity of the project is assured by means of 3 Social Media Channels where a total of 33 news were published, as follows:

Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/multicultya.multicultya.1 - published 11 news), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/multicultya2019/ - published 11 news) and Twitter (https://www.twitter.com/multicultya/ - published 11 news). Moreover, the project also has a Youtube account too, on which the videos from the activities “3 days Dance Festival for Amateur Tourists” and “3 days cross border yachting tour” can be seen.
